Johnny Gray was the founder and first leader of the G Gang. He ruled the gang with an iron fist until his death at the hands of Mark Thanon.

Biography[]

Pre-Shattered[]

Not much is known about Johnny's early life, other than he was born in 1986, as revealed in a plaque that was placed at the spot of his death (seen in Nothing But the Truth), and the fact that he grew up on the gang-ridden ghetto streets of Atlantic City, dealing drugs and firearms. Eventually, he gained loyalty and respect among the gang members of the city, and formed his own gang, the G Gang. This gang became the largest gang in Atlantic City, and he controlled and ran it.

Events of Shattered[]

Though Johnny G or the G Gang is not seen or mentioned in Shattered, at the same time that The BioLynk Incident was occurring (so during the events of Shattered), Mark Thanon made a deal with Johnny G: Mark would deliver Johnny a case of ammunition, and according to Mark, would receive $2,000 as a reward. However, Johnny G denies that the money was part of it, and refuses to pay Mark. Thus, Mark whips out a pistol and shoots Johnny G in the head, assassinating him. This event is seen in the Prologue mission of Shattered 2.

Following his death[]

Following Johnny G's death, his son, Joseph G, took over gang operations. To avenge Johnny's death, Mark was assassinated by the G Gang three years later.

Appearance[]

Johnny is an African-American man who sports a leather jacket, ripped jeans, and bruises on his face. He also has tattoos on both arms, and Dikey sneakers.

Personality[]

Not much is known about Johnny G's personality, though it can be assumed that he is a cold-hearted gang leader who will sacrifice what's right to get things done. He is also shown to take back or deny things that aren't in his favor, such as when he rescinds his deal with Mark about giving him $2,000 after Mark delivered him the ammo case.
