No Snooping is the 13th mission in Shattered, and of
Chapter I.
Plot[]
The_Underscore contacts James to tell him that he has a lead on the FFUB-ICPD case, and sends a drone to James's location. Underscore tells James to follow the drone, which leads him underneath the Lonshan-Feldis Bridge overpass in Downtown. Under the overpass, there are some homeless tents, campfires, and a desk with confidential papers on it. James approaches the desk but Underscore tells James that there are security cameras in the area and the cops are monitoring it.
James hides in a nearby alleyway as the police arrive, with six Interceptors and about 20 cops. They tell James to come out of hiding, and he does. James defeats all the cops while keeping the files safe. After this, James must bring the files back to his apartment, by taking the rooftops back. Once James gets to his apartment he locks the files away in a drawer.
After this, Joey calls and tells James all about his date with Malibu. Joey also asks how James has been feeling, to which James tells him that he's worried about everything that's been happening lately. James also says that Erik is definitely alive somewhere and that he may even have powers of his own, but he may be on one of the other islands, Lonshan or Zenwood. Joey replies that the islands are under strict control due to the lockdown and James needs some more powers before he can escape Feldis, because he's not ready yet.
